HUE was conceived by two friends, Ange and Fiona, who share a passion for interiors and a desire to offer a new retail experience. At HUE we do things a little differently; we’re not a shop but rather a new way to shop, hosting our interior sales in unique spaces and beautiful locations. HUE’S headquarters is a contemporary barn conversion, in an area of outstanding national beauty, outside Marlborough Wiltshire. On event days just about everything you see in the house is for sale!
As one of the founders of HUE Ange previously ran her own successful design practice, working with both commercial and residential clients.
Ange has a background in fine art, design and styling. In the past she has worked on projects for publications such as Elle Decoration, Living ETC, The Sunday Times and The Observer Magazine. Her weakness is perhaps allowing Fizzy her rather lovely Cockapoo to lounge on her equally lovely sofas!
As the other half of HUE Fiona welcomes you to her home for the Get Creative Workshop. After 20 years as a documentary maker for the BBC and Channel 4 Fiona took a creative change of direction when she left the city and bought a brick and flint barn with a corrugated iron roof and decided to make it her family home. A few years on, 800 hedging whips planted and one back operation later she has recovered enough to take questions about the experience!
